THE “WE CARE” PROGRAM
The “WE CARE” Program was created to showcase, promote and recognize the work of all members and mentors of YHH.ROCKS. By wearing a “Hat” or a “T shirt” displaying the official “YHH logo” will tell the world that you are a proud supporter and member of this great International Organization.
The YHH.ROCKS organization believes that our young people have the time and talent to make a difference in the world. With a little guidance and freedom to make choices, our youth can respond to every need if we supply them with guidance, advocacy, voice, structure, ideas and resources.
The youth of YHH.ROCKS will be working (volunteering) in three major areas of need:
FOOD
The “WE CARE PROGRAM” is a community that brings people to the table, using food to tackle big and small issues, one bite at a time. To start, the “WCP” will be working with other non-profit organizations by supplying volunteers. We will continue this practice, even when we have fully implemented the “WE CARE PROGRAM”.
CLOTHING
The “WE CARE PROGRAM” will be fully involved in supplying those in need of clothing. Like the food program, the clothing program will operate the same way as the food program.
CONSTRUCTION/MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS AND PROPERTY
The “WE CARE PROGRAM” will supply organizations such as, “Habitat For Humanity” with volunteers. In the future the “WCP” will be establishing its own program in this area.
All YHH.ROCKS members should consider joining this great international program called “WE CARE”.
YHH.ROCKS also recognizes and confirms that there are four major needs of all youth today.
1) YOUTH IN BUSINESS PROGRAM (YIBP)
“Turn your Dreams, Goals and Passion In To A Business” Empower-Educate-Engage Opportunities to start their own business-All youth need a job, but most do not see a good paying job in their future. So, instead of just sitting around wishing and hopping for that job offer to magically appear, millions of young people are ready to start their own business (enterprise) and create new jobs and opportunities for others in the process. What society needs to do is offer training, capital, access to markets, and much lower barriers to business start-up.
2) A REAL-WORLD EDUCATION
A real-world education that prepares them for their future- Today’s education systems are failing billions of youth globally today. Millions of young people complete a primary education and still cannot read and write in their native language. They want-and in some cases are creating for themselves and others-new methods to help all youth get the full set of cognitive, life, and work skills.
3) AN END TO CORRUPTION AND DICTATORSHIP GOVERNMENTS
Bring an end to worldwide corruption and bad governance-it’s oblivious and plain to see that today’s youth are feeling the corrosive effects of corruption and government indifference, lack of interest, lack of concern, passivity, detachment, lack of involvement, coldness, and an I-don’t-care attitude in every area of their lives, from education and road safety to health and the environmental protection. Our youth are ready to use their tech savvy to create new systems of accountability and transparency for the public and private sectors.
4) A SAFE AND SECURE LIFE FOR ALL YOUTH
Offer a safe and secure life to all youth-Young people are often viewed as the source of national and regional insecurity, and yet they are among the most affected by it and the best suited to address it. Extremism and violence attract only a small minority of youth; however, the majority of young people see their futures vanishing into the smoke of conflict.
